This is an extremely simple & easy recipe for the best and the most delicious cake frosting EVER! It has been my mom’s go-to recipe for ages and I will share it with you today.
You’ll need: Equal parts softened butter and sweetened condensed milk. That’s it!
For a whole cake you’ll need around half a cup of each. Mix it well with an electric mixer for about a minute until it’s nice and fluffy and you are good to go!
If you want it to be firm to the touch, slap that cake into the fridge for a couple of hours before indulging in that buttery goodness.
To get the butter soft, I usually just let it stand on the kitchen counter for a couple of hours. This frosting can also be very easily modified into whatever would fit your cake better – for example, for chocolate just add cocoa powder.
